Nodin galloped into a clearing surrounded by dead trees. He looked around, panting slightly. A cliff with an overhang caught his attention and he ran to see what was there. What appeared before him was a cliff face, but when he looked closer there was a hidden cave. He smiled at how well hidden it was and decided to sleep in it for now. He went inside and layed down, its coolness enfolding him...conforting him. He smiled lightly and closed his eyes, drifting to sleep, ready to run to whomever wanted him or needed him.

Nodin heard a strange gushing noise. He lifted his head and listened intently. When the noise stopped, he set his head back down but kept his eyes on the cave's entrance.
