Nodin flew in quickly. He stomped around. He was only going to stay for a moment, then he would go to Freedom Valley. But for now, he wanted to see this new stallion and recruit him. Though he didn't know who he was, he knew this horse was a stranger to the land. He called loudly for Darkjaw to come.

Nodin snorted at the horse's answer. He approached Darkjaw slowly. "Stop sniveling. I can teach you to fight; to become strong and wise in battle. So, do you want to learn?" he asked.

A smile full of cunning flashed across Nodin's face. "We are going to war. I came to the Neutral Lands to find some troops. I came here to recruit you," he told the horse.

Nodin stared at him calmly. "So be it. I had hoped to bring you in, to be allies, but I see that won't happen right now. Maybe sometime, but not now..." he said quietly.
